I have been an auto mechanic for about 10 years. I always wished I could use my laptop to be used as a scanner. Why could it not be? It makes sense. Because PC is much more sophisticate than a conventional scanner. All it needs is an adapter that connects between PC and DTC (Data Link Connector) and a software.
